		<description>I think your story is such an important one to tell. So many of us abandon our birth surname and then wonder why the heck we did that? In fact, I don't think many of us know that women before us fought for the right to keep their birthname upon marriage. Isn't that hard to believe - that keeping your name is a privilege, not a right? In my first marriage, I did the same thing as you. I chose my husband's last name. I wasn't thrilled with the name, but I did it. But I guess that didn't prevent divorce. I took back my birth surname and I love it. It feels more like me! Thanks for your post.</description>
